As I already said, "You can't be Serious." So Italy was a fluke was it Team USA, how about Puerto Rico? Arroyo, who is this kid? This isn't your father's dream team, this is your In your dreams team. Team USA has lost it's first olympic game since NBA players were used. The three point line is closer and team USA can't hit a 20.5' shot. That's college and High School length, I can hit that shot and these olympians can't. Let's take a look at this roster; Allen Iverson, Stephon Marbury, Dwyane Wade JR, Carlos Boozer, Carmelo Anthony, Lebron James, Emeka Okafor, Shawn Marion, Amare Stoudemire, Tim Duncan, Lamar Odom, and Richard Jefferson, and you tell me that these guys lose to guys like Jose Otriz, Carlos Arroyo, and Jorge Rivera. Team USA was 26 for 75 for 35% from the floor. They shot an imressive 13% from three land and an even better 62% from the charity stripe. How do you win games, well how about shooting 56%, 50% from three land and 67% from the charity stripe. Puerto Rico proved that a TEAM can beat a collection of people anyday, and that's all Team USA is, they're not a Team, they're a TEIAM, and there is an I in that. Forget the saying there is no I in team, Team USA breaks that all the time.

Now continueing with my olympic coverage, I feel bad for Michael Phelps as he won't be able to gain 8 gold medals as Team USA finished 2nd behind Russia in the 4X100m Freestyle Relay. As they finished 1.99 seconds behind Russia. And then in the finals they fell apart as they los to Russia and some other country and they were 2.58 seconds behind. more olympic coverage tomorrow
