Suicide watch in Boston

Boston be ready for a Suicide watch after the Sox had a horrible 3 days in New York, and I mean horrible. During this series the Sox were not only outplayed, but they were out run, outlast, outwit, and this isn't Survivor here. If this was we'd already be searching for Jeff Probst to put out our torch so we could finally get off this crazy island we call Survivor Red Sox Nation. What the Red Sox and their fans right now are going through is perfect reality TV, with the exception that what can go wrong always will. The Sox yesterday finally listened to my plea to keep Nomar off of the playing field and to move Pokey over to short, and here's a surprise the Red Sox didn't have one error last night, not one. With a starting infield of McCarty, Bellhorn, Reese and Youkilis they started to capture that fight that we were seeing before Trot and Nomar came back. We were told that all we had to do is stay close until Trot and Nomar came back and now that they're back we're left wondering why we were waiting for them at all, since they've come back we have the third worst record in the Major Leagues, behind Arizona and Anaheim. When Trot and Nomar came back all of our problems were going to be solved, instead new problems have arrived such as how much does Nomar want to be here? Last night with two outs in the bottom of the 13th inning the whole Red Sox team, coaches and Jim Rowe included were standing up waiting for the final strike, that is all except Nomar who just sat on the bench with a look of disgust on his face.
Red Sox Nation we've finally found our first baseman in David McCarty. Last night we didn't boot any balls, he caught everything that came his way. He even stole a base, something that our first basemen this year of Ortiz and Millar can't claim. Millar is a player that I'm still trying to figure out why he's playing, he grounded into 2 of the Sox 4 double plays last night, he batted a red hot 0-6, plus he misjudged a ball in the bottom of the 13th that cost the Sox the game. I can understand running for Ortiz with Gabe Kapler but why not then put Kapler in the game, sure you lose the DH but the Yankees weren't afraid to lose the DH, they just used the DH spot to hit John Flaherty with the game winning ground rule double.
Again without Nomar there was great defense played by the Sox as they were able to turn 2 key double plays when they needed them. And there was a highlight catch coming from the Evil Empire when Derek Jeter ran full speed caught the ball and then a second later found himself enjoying the games with the fans in the first few rows, has Nomar ever shown this type of effort?
It's horrible to think that Manny Ramirez could hit 2 shots, one to center in the 6th inning and another in the 13th to left, and they still can't score more than 4 runs. Looking back on the series the Sox lost game one 11-3, game two 4-2 and then again last night 5-4 in 13 innings, told to wait and just stay close until Nomar and Trot came back, now we just want Nomar to trot out of Boston.
